Teaming and Role: Wordsworth Communications serves as a DBE subconsultant to Gannett Fleming under an on-call contract with the Pennsylvania Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC). The TAC conducts special studies on behalf of the State Transportation Commission, which serves as a board of directors for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. For this assignment, Julie Johnson worked closely with the Gannett Fleming work order manager and technical leads, as well as the PennDOT project manager.
Services: Wordsworth Communications participated in brainstorming on document content, organization, and look and feel; edited draft material to be clear, consistent, and concise; produced visually appealing charts based on raw data provided by technical leads; created draft and revised document designs; completed document layout and proofreading; and supported internal and external reviews and iterations.
Similar Assignments: Wordsworth Communications provided similar services for the 2013 PennDOT Transportation Performance Report, which was the first such document developed by the TAC.
